Mayo Clinic, a well-known non-profit medical research group, has recently announced that the Mediterranean diet proves to have significant benefits for the heart. This is due to a healthy balance of fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. Who wouldn't want a heart-friendly diet so we can have a long life free of illnesses?

When you think of Italian desserts, what is the first thing that pops in your head? Biscotti? Ricotta cheesecake? Panna cotta? Of course not. It's tiramisu! It's fame has been ubiquitous from its birthplace in the province of Tuscany all the way to the streets of Hong Kong. It's a dessert that boasts simplicity, versatility, and outright deliciousness, what's not to love? Not to mention its prep time can be done in less than 15 minutes and there's no cooking involved.

Eating out today is inevitable. Even if you try to avoid it due to financial issues or health reasons, there would always be that day where you just have to dine out. Maybe you’re busy and there’s nothing in the fridge to heat up. Maybe it’s to treat out that girl you started dating. You may opt out for fast food or some fine dining, but again, eating out is unavoidable. Is it then impossible to not go out to eat?

Did you know there are over 600 types of pasta in the world? It’s a shame that only a couple dozen of them are used and that only a handful have become common household names. So why do the other types remain in the dark? It’s not like they taste different. The main ingredients are just wheat flour, water, and maybe some eggs.

We all have memories of coming home from a long day, hunched down with a frown on the face. But upon opening the door, we’re embraced by a certain aroma, beckoning us to rush to the kitchen. Just a whiff of that one dish and suddenly we feel less tired and more happy, as if our troubles magically disappeared.
